Mark, Christie, and Boys Welcome You

2012 flew past us so quickly we are on the eve of Christmas Eve and are resorting to the digital version of the "EMC3 Christmas Update." Feel free to browse some of our favorite photo memories from this past year including a weekend trip to
St. Louis, and our Family Vacation in Orlando.

Cadyn graduated from Preschool at JRA, turned six in July and started kindergarten in the fall. He's still very full of energy and does everything he can to keep up with his big brother. He's hit a growth spurt and grew six inches in six months.

Colby entered 5th grade in the fall and is loving being eleven. Last winter he played Upwards basketball and took up a bit of archery. He's still very active in art and has a new talent - origami. This fall he joined the Honor Choir at school and has enjoyed singing.

Christie transitioned from the Elementary Department at James River to being the Background Screening Investigator. Any volunteer or employee application crosses her desk and she'll verify they are eligible to work/volunteer. This new position keeps her busy, but she truly enjoys what she does.

Mark is still loving his position at the Assemblies of God National Leadership and Resource Center working with the children's ministries. He flew up to Barrow, Alaska in July (furthest north city in the US) to run in the first ever Top of the World, Midnight Marathon. Though only completing 16 of the 26.2 miles, it was an experience he'll never forget.
